General Information Regarding Car Hire In Turkey. |

- It is compulsory to hold and be able to produce a valid British or Intenational Driving Licence.
- Drivers must be a minimum of 21 years of age for cars and 25 for jeeps
- On delivery of the vehicle you will sign a hire agreement / contract and also an impression of your credit card will be taken. This is merely to ensure that the vehicle is returned to the pre-agreed place on time and with the correct amount of fuel. The impression is kept in our office safe and is refunded to you on return of the vehicle. We strongly feel that this method is preferable to a cash deposit or us holding your passport.
- 2 drivers can be named per vehicle free of charge and any third or additional driver can be added to the agreement for a minimal cost.
- A complimentary map is provided with your vehicle and information regarding our emergency contact numbers is clearly stated on the hire agreement , a copy of which you will retain.Our Explora representative will also be happy to answer any questions you may have pertaining to the vehicle, local driving laws, accidents, insurance etc.
- All local taxes, insurance and delivery charges are included in the rates we wil lquote you, but please note that damage to windscreen, headlights and tyres is not covered by Turkish insurance policies. Additional optional cover can be purchased at a cost of 3 GBP per day.
- Child seats can be provided free of charge on request, but please note hat these seats are of a standard ‘one size fits all’ design, suitable for a child weighing up to 16 kg. Should you have any concerns we recommend you bring your own.
- Although we will confirm your reservation by e-mail, we do not require a deposit at the time of booking. Payment can be made in full on delivery of the vehicle. We accept cash and travellers’ cheques and major credit cards. Please advise us of your chosen method of payment on booking.
- Please note that our prices start from 25 GBP per day for jeeps and cars but very much depend on the season and demand . At certain times of the year we may be in a position to offer a special deal.Please contact us on our pre-prepared e-mail request form for a personal quote and we will reply generally within 24 hours.
